Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Exeq service and software library provided by Unleavened LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of New York.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Exeq, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Exeq provides client-side PDF form building and document signing tools delivered as a JavaScript library. The software runs entirely in the user's browser. We do not process, store, or have access to your PDF documents or their contents.

3. License

The Exeq library is provided under the MIT License for the open-source components. Your use of the library is subject to valid API key authentication. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service in accordance with these Terms.

4. API Keys

Access to the Exeq library requires a valid API key. You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. You may not share, sell, or transfer your API key to third parties without our consent. We reserve the right to revoke API keys that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the service
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
  • Use the service to transmit malicious code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the service

6. Enterprise Services

Enterprise features including server-side PDF processing, signing audit trails, third-party signature verification, managed document storage, and custom branding are available under separate enterprise agreements. Contact us for details.

7. Intellectual Property

The Exeq name, logo, and service are the property of Unleavened LLC. Your use of the service does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property rights in the service or its content.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNLEAVENED LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Unleavened LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York County, New York.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
